The JDM Pedals “Cascade Tremolo” is not just a tremolo, but also an “amp-in-a-box” pedal, giving you sounds very much like a Fender Princeton Amp, or other vintage tube combo with tremolo. We’ve designed the pedal to be VERY reactive to your playing. Not only do the cascaded MOSFET preamp stages provide a tube-like sensitivity to your playing dynamics, the tremolo also reacts dynamically - crank it and hit a chord and the tremolo “ducks” the chord before swelling up again, letting rhythm parts come clear when you dig in. Pick lighter, and the tremolo comes through- this is JUST the way the great old tube combos “feel” when you play. The master volume and double-speed switch make possible a wider range of overdrive sounds and tremolo effects than a vintage amp can do, especially at modest volumes! Our pedals are hand-assembled, feature true bypass, and use top quality components throughout. The MOSFET preamp and output stages provide high input impedance and low output impedance, keeping the tone clear and present even with long cable runs.

Q: JDM Pedals Union Fuzz Switchable Germanium/Silicon Fuzz Pedal

The Most Flexible Fuzz Pedal Available: The JDM Pedals Union Fuzz Our unique "voicing" switch paired with TRUE Silicon/Germanium switching. Q: JDM Pedals Little Steamer Overdrive

The "Little Steamer" is a unique pedal, and you won't find any other pedals out there that create the same tone. Based on the mysterious "Harmonic Percolator" circuit from the 1970's, we have tweaked the design to allow you to dial in sparkling light overdrive tones, warm sustaining overdrive, or nearly synth-like fuzz/drive sounds that sustain forever. The unique properties of the circuit create a pleasant (if at times wildly overdriven) sound no matter how you dial it in. It's like coffee; it's going to pep your tone up no matter how you brew it, you just need to dial in your flavor. There are four controls - "Roast", "Volume", "Steam", and a "Clip" switch. Volume is obvious. The Clip switch is also pretty straight forward - when in the "Clip" position, the signal is sent through a series of diodes, both silicon and germanium, to create additional distortion in the signal, increasing the harmonic content, and giving it more "bite" and drive. This results in a small volume drop which you can compensate with the volume knob. The "Roast" and "Steam" knobs are completely unique to our design. Roll back the "Roast" for mellower overdrive sounds, crank it for a "dark roast" high-gain overdrive with a solid midrange that will still cut through the mix even at wild gain levels. "Steam" lets you reign in the the drive in a different way; turned down (to the left) the circuit gain is reduced, but high end "sparkle" is maintained - perfect for spanking rock and country rhythm guitar sounds. As you crank it up, the gain increases and the sound becomes somewhat darker and focused, allowing you to create furiously steaming lead sounds that won't steam your eardrums with harsh harmonics. The interaction of "Roast" and "Steam" provide an amazing range of tones from old school rock and mellow overdrive to gutsy distortion and slippery fuzz tones. Q: JDM Pedals "Green Meanie" Germanium / Silicon Hybrid Distortion "Muff Style"

The Big Muff has been a cornerstone of rock guitar tones from Hendrix, to Pink Floyd, through the Smashing Pumpkins and Nirvana, and on and on... However, I've never been a big fan of the Big Muff. The extreme distortion sometimes makes the guitar seem to get *quieter* when you kick it in - all dynamics are lost! The lack of midrange adds to the problem. What we were looking for is something with that Muff "grind", but with more dynamics; something that sounds good at lower volume levels. BUT, once in a while a completely saturated sound comes in handy (that's my studio roots!) So after months of breadboarding, prototyping, swearing, quitting pedals forever, getting angrily drunk, then renewing the quest for the ultimate Muff, the "Green Meanie" was born. Not meant to look pretty, the 'Meanie is capable of creating everything from a hint of 60's fuzz to bone marrow melting hot lava high gain sounds. The Germanium first stage takes care of the softer, juicier side, and he silicon second stage adds the "tightness" and "punch" in however much you need. Swap from "Green" to "Mean" with the toggle, and use the Tone, Density, and Mid knobs to tailor your tone to taste. Hand wired, true bypass, vintage transistors, high tolerance components, shielded inputs and outputs, and hand finished and silkscreened for that "not too perfect" look. The "Green Meanie" is a work of sonic art.

JDM Pedals "Blue Dream" is a much improved version of the famous (and hard to find) Ibanez ST-9. We've included a bass control, passive treble control for smoother highs, true bypass, and a scream/dream switch for a lower gain and more transparent drive. We can also customize this pedal.

Controls: "Boost" level (naturally), "EQ" control, 3-way top cut switch The "EQ" control gradually blends in more lows to the classic treble-only boost as you turn it up. Fully counterclockwise, you have a classic Rangemaster. Fully clockwise, you have the modification that Iommi famously used for Black Sabbath recordings. Instead of switching these, we implemented a blend control, so you can find the optimal setting for your rig. The top cut switch allows you to either cut just the very highest treble, which can just trim extraneous white noise above the guitar's naturaly frequencies. The "Mo'" position cuts into upper harmonics which can sound harsh with modern amps or when combining the boost with fuzz or drive pedals. Perfect!
