Q: JDM Pedals "OC Boost" OC44 Version

Classic OC44 Rangemaster Boost with additional controls. Controls: "Boost" level (naturally), "EQ" control, 3-way top cut switch The "EQ" control gradually blends in more lows to the classic treble-only boost as you turn it up. Fully counterclockwise, you have a classic Rangemaster. Fully clockwise, you have the modification that Iommi famously used for Black Sabbath recordings. Instead of switching these, we implemented a blend control, so you can find the optimal setting for your rig. The top cut switch allows you to either cut just the very highest treble, which can just trim extraneous white noise above the guitar's naturaly frequencies. The "Mo'" position cuts into upper harmonics which can sound harsh with modern amps or when combining the boost with fuzz or drive pedals. Perfect!

Controls: "3-Knob" Version: Volume, Vibe (bias), Velvet (tone) and 3-way voicing switch. As with our Fuzz 292, gain is "dimed" and controlled via your Guitar's volume pot. "Large" - Adds "Top jacks" and Pre-gain control. Enclosure size an ever-so-slightly larger and a bit taller 1590B+ size.

We've taken it to the next level with a passive mid-bump switch to enhance the tone in a mix thick with drums, keys, and vocals competing for midrange space. The JDM Hot Plate uses vintage PNP Germanium transistors, but we've also added an analog voltage inverter on-board so you can daisy chain this fuzz with your other pedals running on standard +9vDC. 9v block Battery clip also inside, of course .
