JDM Pedals "Elektrika Handwired", Point-to-Point , Turret Board Construction

A point-to-point, handwired version of our JDM Elektrika. All NOS parts - resistors, caps, and transistors, assembled on turretboard, creating the most stark Elektrika experience of all. Not for the faint of heart, this pedal channels the rudest, wildest spirit of the TB MK1 and each pedal built has it's own unique character. The "Zonk" mode is truer to the original - a reedy, penetrating fuzz to rip acid holes into musical tapestry. The MK1 mode is a raw, clear reproduction of the best Tone Bender sound you've heard, with the added flexibility of our Tone and Gate controls.

JDM Pedals "Buzz Hound" | Buzzaround Fuzz | Point To Point All N.O.S. Parts

JDM Pedals "Buzz Hound" Fuzz Pedal Pulling out all the stops, it's our first point-to-point wired pedal using all N.O.S. components. True bypass, but (currently) battery only with no LED. Careful testing revealed that comparisons with voltage inverter and LED did not pass a double blind test. So until we design a fully bypass-able voltage inverter (for power supplies) and LED matrix, this one's'going raw and nude! You will not find a better sounding Buzzaround style pedal. This pedal drops jaws with everyone who tests it. It's going to melt your mind. A thick, rich sustain and gorgeous overtones that slide effortlessly into harmonically true feedback. All new old stock capacitors, tested thoroughly to determine which sound best in each position, with all carbon composite resistors and vintage germanium transistors. It's currently fitted with 3x Toshiba AC121, although we will offer other versions in the future. Getting the bias correct is key, and these AC121 hit it precisely. Features: All NOS parts, WIMA & paper-in-oil capacitors, carbon composite resistors, assembled point-to-point on turret board. Toshiba AC121VI transistors. All auditioned for low noise and perfect operation. Battery-only operation, no LED. Gold Sparkle finish, UV printed graphics Top mounted Lumberg jacks, power jack currently NOT connected - available for retrofit of fully-bypassable LED/Power section for live vs studio use. JDM Pedals "OC75 Elektrika" - all black glass Mullard & Valvo OC75 transistors

July 1st, 2025 - We have OC75 transistors back in stock! Both Valvo and Mullard made, covering the gain range we need to cook up more of these beauties. We are still offering the OC75 Elektrika made on PCB, and can offer this for $329 for as long as the supplies last (probably 10-12 units only!) ( NOTE: I have started a dedicated site for pedals at www.jdmpedals.com and this is the place to order our point-to-point wired OC75 and other PTP pedals. These are much more time intensive, and are also built with all N.O.S. components, so they run about $100 more for parts and labor. We're doing a special on the first few OC75 PTP units during July, so take advantage!) JDM Pedals "OC75 Elektrika" Features: All vintage black glass Mullard and Valvo transistors As great sounding as they are rare. Internal analog voltage inverter, allowing power standard +9vDC, center negative ("Boss Style") power supplies for easy integration into modern pedalboards All of our Tonebender MK1 mods, as featured on the Elektrika (Gate & Tone controls, Fat/Tight Switch) UPDATED OPTICS - Powder coated Gold Sparkle Enclosure / printed graphics Top mounted power and I/O jacks, all Lumberg quality Our standard Elektrika has received a lot of online attention and positive reviews already, but I must say, this baby sounds simply amazing. This run will be 10 units - first come, first serve. Available NOW! cheers, joe

JDM Pedals "Elektrika" - Limited Edition Mullard/Philips "black glass" OC45 - Units #01-25

JDM Pedals "Limited Edition" Elektrika - OC45 This run is built using Philips/Mullard OC45 transistors, and tonally these have shown themselves perfectly suited to the Elektrika circuit. Lower noise than the OC44, with gain characteristics closer to the OC75, these fall neatly "in the middle" of those two pedals. An optimal all-around perfect fuzz for stage and recording. Features: All vintage Valvo/Mullard OC45 "Red Dot" germanium transistors. Internal analog voltage inverter, allowing power standard +9vDC, center negative ("Boss Style") power supplies for easy integration into modern pedalboards All of our Tonebender MK1 mods, as featured on the Elektrika (Gate & Tone controls, Fat/Tight Switch) Gold Sparkle finish, indelible UV printed graphics joe

JDM Pedals "OC Boost" Custom Version

Classic Rangemaster Boost with additional controls - Limited Edition / Currently Available Transistors * According to discussion with Joe prior to ordering! Controls: "Boost" level (naturally), "EQ" control, 3-way top cut switch The "EQ" control gradually blends in more lows to the classic treble-only boost as you turn it up. Fully counterclockwise, you have a classic Rangemaster. Fully clockwise, you have the modification that Iommi famously used for Black Sabbath recordings. Instead of switching these, we implemented a blend control, so you can find the optimal setting for your rig. The top cut switch allows you to either cut just the very highest treble, which can just trim extraneous white noise above the guitar's naturaly frequencies. The "Mo'" position cuts into upper harmonics which can sound harsh with modern amps or when combining the boost with fuzz or drive pedals. Perfect!

JDM Pedals "Elektrika" - Limited Edition Mullard "Red Dot" OC42 - Units #25-50

JDM Pedals "Limited Edition" Elektrika These have been by far our most popular pedals, and the search is on to find the proper vintage germanium transistors to get "that sound". This run is built using incredibly rich sounding and at the same time low leakage & stable OC42 Mullard transistors. These are the coveted "Red Dot" Mullard transistors, which have a red dot on the metal cover over the glass tube, and a white collector dot. These are very quiet when your volume is turned down, and create a rich fuzz when cranked - a hair less gain than the Valvo Black Glass, but trading that "hairiness" for a rich, 3D clarity. Features: All vintage Mullard OC42 "Red Dot" germanium transistors. Internal analog voltage inverter, allowing power standard +9vDC, center negative ("Boss Style") power supplies for easy integration into modern pedalboards All of our Tonebender MK1 mods, as featured on the Elektrika (Gate & Tone controls, Fat/Tight Switch) Gold Hammerite finish, hand printed black silkscreened graphics joe

Our fan-fave JDM Vindicator pedal gets a special edition using all black glass transistors. The MK2 Fuzz side is built with two Telefunken OC602 and one Valvo OC75 for an excruciatingly vindictive vintage fuzz experience. The Germanium boost (Rangemaster circuit) contains an original OC44 black glass Valvo transistor. Finished in black hammerite and marked with a single yellow enamel dot, reprezentin' the OC602 Telefunken transistors inside. So much groovy vintage tone, so many tones you can cook up, this pedal will flip your wig.
